Haven Manufacturing Corporation will once again exhibit at the AWS FabTech Chicago Show.Booth #2060 will be located in the Tube & Pipe section in the McCormick Place South Exhibition Hall.Two new products will be on display and demonstrated.The Haventrak® Flying Shear cutoff, designed and built in cooperation with Universal Controls Group, combines the industry wide recognized Haven Dual-Blade shear cutoff head and the Universal U-Trak servo length control system.This combination delivers accurate, high quality, dimple free cuts on the fly.Mill installations with speeds up to 250fpm are best suited for this new product.
The second product featured will be a SOCO Machinery Model SA-78 automated high tensile tube sawing machine.The collaboration between Haven and SOCO enables Haven to enter into the heavy wall and solid bar markets.The SOCO Model SA-78 is a fully automated production line best suited for the tubing market.Secondary operations, such as wire brush de-burring, double end chamfering, length measuring and tube stacking can be integrated to the saw.Both HSS and TCT carbide saw blades can be used on this machine.
